How it is made
Beauty from what was thrown away
Every molten glass piece begins as recycled glass and reclaimed wood, and ends as something worth keeping for years.
- 01Recycled glassEach piece starts as recycled glass, and the beer bottle range as old beer bottles.
- 02Hand-blown in BaliSkilled makers shape each piece by hand, so every curve is unique.
- 03Fused over woodThe glass is set on reclaimed gamal wood, no two grains the same.
- 04Yours to keepOne of a kind, sustainable, and made to last.
More about this collection
The biggest, boldest pieces in our range: an extra large double bowl about 75cm long, wide sculptural bowls and crackled glass tanks, each one hand-blown from recycled glass over a substantial piece of reclaimed Balinese wood. These are the pieces a room gets arranged around, and no two are quite alike.
Choosing a statement piece
- For a dining table or sideboard: the extra large double piece on wood, two glass bowls on one long piece of gamal wood, or the large glass bowl on a wooden stand.
- For a hallway or console: the bowl in a carved wooden hand, about 23cm tall, or the hanging bowl, which sits on its wooden stand or can be fitted to a wall.
- As sculpture: the V-shaped vase, the crackled glass tank or the large bowl on a wood stump, planted, filled or left empty.
Large pieces are heavy, the double piece about 10kg, so choose the spot before it arrives and keep the wood dry. If you are building a natural, textural interior, start here and let everything else follow. Good to know
Questions, answered
How big are the statement pieces?
These are the largest pieces in the range, from wide centrepiece bowls to a 70cm double-stand vase. Approximate dimensions are on every listing, and sizes vary slightly because each piece is handmade.
Do they need anything in them?
No. These pieces are sculptural first: many look their best empty, where light can move through the glass. Fill them only if the room calls for it.
Where do statement pieces work best?
Console tables, sideboards, dining tables and hallway moments where a single object can anchor the space. Our guide to biophilic decorating covers the thinking.
How are large glass pieces delivered?
By tracked UK delivery, in plain packaging with no invoice or prices inside. If anything arrives damaged, tell us within 48 hours and we will put it right.
