This is a statement molten glass on wood vase set on an extra-large double wooden stand, standing around 70cm tall, where hand-blown recycled glass flows over reclaimed Balinese wood to form a single sculptural centrepiece.
Each piece is made by hand in Bali. Molten recycled glass is gently blown and relaxed over reclaimed gamal wood, so the glass settles into the natural grain and shape of the timber. The tall double stand lifts the glass to eye level, making it a true one of a kind object. Materials
Recycled glass, including rescued beer bottles, hand-blown and fused onto reclaimed Balinese gamal wood. Every piece is made to order, so small variations in colour, shape and grain are natural and part of its character.
Care
Hand wash only with warm water and a soft cloth, then dry straight away. Do not put any piece in the dishwasher, microwave or oven. Avoid soaking the wood or leaving it in standing water, and keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight to protect the colour. A little food-safe oil now and then keeps the wood looking its best.
