This is a handcrafted molten glass on wood tank: a crackled, hand-blown recycled glass vessel fused over a base of reclaimed Balinese gamal root wood, ideal as a small terrarium, table aquarium or sculptural centrepiece.
Each tank is made by Balinese artisans who blow molten recycled glass and relax it by hand over a single piece of reclaimed gamal wood, so the hot glass settles into the natural contours of the timber to form a seamless bond. The crackled finish catches the light from every angle. Because it is shaped by hand from reclaimed materials, no two pieces are ever the same, making each one genuinely one of a kind.

Good to know
Is each tank unique? Yes. Every tank is hand-blown and hand-finished, so the glass shape, crackle and wood base differ from piece to piece.
Is it made from recycled glass? Yes. The glass is recycled and hand-blown by Balinese artisans, then fused over reclaimed gamal wood.
How do I clean it? Wipe the glass with a soft, damp cloth and dry the wood gently. Avoid harsh chemicals, dishwashers and soaking the wooden base.
