This is a decorative molten glass on wood bowl, where a pool of hand-blown recycled glass is cradled in the palm of a hand carved from reclaimed Balinese wood.
Each piece is made by skilled artisans in Bali, who carve the open hand from reclaimed gamal wood and then relax molten recycled glass over it so the glass settles naturally into the form. Because the glass is blown and shaped by hand, no two pieces are ever quite the same, making every bowl a genuinely one of a kind, sustainable object.

Materials

Care
Hand wash only with warm water and a soft cloth, then dry straight away. Do not put any piece in the dishwasher, microwave or oven. Avoid soaking the wood or leaving it in standing water, and keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight to protect the colour. A little food-safe oil now and then keeps the wood looking its best.
