Wax melts with a keepsake inside

MeltEaze crystal wax melts are 50g snap bars for your wax burner, each one named for the gemstone set inside it. Snap off a cube, melt it over an unscented tealight or in an electric warmer, and as the wax pool forms, real gemstone chips appear: Amethyst under the lavender, Rose Quartz under the rose, Black Obsidian under the Dragon's Blood. When the fragrance finally fades, lift the chips out, rinse them and keep them.

There are ten blends to work through, from bright fresh citrus and classic rose to smoky Dragon's Blood and creamy vanilla sandalwood. Each bar snaps into cubes so you control the strength, and at £3.50 they make easy gifts, stocking fillers and add-ons to a bigger parcel.

What are crystal wax melts?

They are 50g snap bars of fragranced wax with real gemstone chips set inside. You melt a cube in a wax burner to scent the room, and the chips are revealed in the melt pool as the wax liquefies. Once the wax cools, you can lift the chips out, rinse them and keep them.

How do I use a wax melt snap bar?

Snap off one cube and place it in the dish of a wax burner over an unscented tealight, or use an electric wax warmer. Never add water and never put wax directly on a flame. When the fragrance has faded, let the wax cool and set, then pop it out and start a fresh cube.

Are the gemstone chips real?

Yes. Each blend is set with chips of the stone it is named for, such as Amethyst, Rose Quartz, Carnelian or Lapis Lazuli. Two blends use a namesake stone of the same colour family: Aquamarine Wave contains Blue Chalcedony and Emerald Forest contains Aventurine.

Do I need a special burner?

No. Any standard tealight wax burner or electric wax warmer works. Use an unscented tealight so the fragrance stays true, and never leave a lit burner unattended.

Are wax melts a good gift?
