More about this collection

Molten glass on wood is our signature craft: recycled glass, including rescued beer bottles, is hand-blown by Balinese artisans and relaxed over reclaimed gamal wood while still soft, so every vessel hardens to the exact shape of its own piece of timber. Nothing is moulded and nothing is repeated, which is why no two pieces here are ever the same.

This is the full range in one place, from bowls and vases to candle holders and decanters. New to the craft? Read what molten glass on wood is and how each piece is made, then find the one that is yours.

Good to know

Questions, answered

What is molten glass on wood?

It is a Balinese craft where recycled glass is hand-blown and, while still soft, relaxed over a piece of reclaimed gamal wood so it hardens to the timber's exact shape. Our guide to what molten glass on wood is tells the full story.

Is every piece really one of a kind?

Yes. Because the glass is blown by hand and settles over an individual piece of wood, the colour, shape and grain are different every time. The piece you receive will be the only one like it.

Which pieces can I actually use, and which are for display?

Tumblers, jugs and tableware are made for everyday use. Decorative bowls, vases and centrepieces are best kept for display or dry contents. Everything is hand wash only to protect the timber.

How quickly will my order arrive?
