This is a handmade molten glass on wood vase, a V-shaped vessel of hand-blown recycled glass fused over a piece of reclaimed Balinese gamal wood.
Each vase is made by hand in Bali in the traditional way. The glass is hand-blown and, while still molten, relaxed over a natural gamal root so it hardens to the exact shape of the wood for a seamless fit. Because the wood grain and recycled glass differ every time, every piece is genuinely one of a kind, and the use of recycled glass and sustainable reclaimed wood makes it a naturally eco-friendly work of art.

Care
Hand wash only with warm water and a soft cloth, then dry straight away. Do not put any piece in the dishwasher, microwave or oven. Avoid soaking the wood or leaving it in standing water, and keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight to protect the colour. A little food-safe oil now and then keeps the wood looking its best.
