Each bowl is handcrafted in Bali in the traditional way. Molten recycled glass is hand-blown and, while still hot, gently relaxed over a section of reclaimed gamal root, so the glass hardens to the natural contours of the timber for a perfect, seamless fit. Care
Hand wash only with warm water and a soft cloth, then dry straight away. Do not put any piece in the dishwasher, microwave or oven. Avoid soaking the wood or leaving it in standing water, and keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight to protect the colour. A little food-safe oil now and then keeps the wood looking its best.
