This is a small molten glass on wood vase, a decorative piece where hand-blown recycled glass is fused over a whitewashed reclaimed wood base to hold flowers, stems and dried botanicals.
Each vase is made by hand in Bali, where molten recycled glass is gently relaxed over a section of reclaimed gamal wood so it flows into every natural groove and contour. Care
Hand wash only with warm water and a soft cloth, then dry straight away. Do not put any piece in the dishwasher, microwave or oven. Avoid soaking the wood or leaving it in standing water, and keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight to protect the colour. A little food-safe oil now and then keeps the wood looking its best.
