This is a mini molten glass on wood decanter, a 20cm decorative bottle of hand-blown recycled glass fused over a base of reclaimed Balinese wood. It works as a small carafe for wine or water and as a sculptural accent piece in its own right.
Each decanter is made by hand in Bali. Molten recycled glass is blown and then relaxed over a piece of reclaimed gamal wood, where it cools and settles into the timber's natural contours. Because the glass follows the grain and shape of the wood, every piece is one of a kind, with its own flow, texture and the occasional air bubble. It is a biophilic, sustainable design that brings a little of Bali's creative soul into the home.

Care
Hand wash only with warm water and a soft cloth, then dry straight away. Do not put any piece in the dishwasher, microwave or oven. Avoid soaking the wood or leaving it in standing water, and keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight to protect the colour. A little food-safe oil now and then keeps the wood looking its best.
