Glass Infuser Teapot - Tower Shape - 780ml

A 780ml tower glass teapot with a removable infuser for loose-leaf tea. The clear glass lets you watch the leaves open and the colour deepen as it brews, so you can lift the infuser out at exactly the strength you like.

Details

• Capacity: 780ml, which makes three or four cups.
• Infuser: removable infuser, so the leaves come out when the tea is ready and the pot does not stew.
• Suits: green, black, herbal and fruit teas, and anything with large leaves worth watching.

Using and caring for it

• Warm the pot with a splash of hot water first, then tip it away.
• Black tea likes water just off the boil for three to five minutes; green tea prefers it cooler, around 70 to 80°C, for two to three minutes.
• Hand wash in warm soapy water once the pot has cooled, and rinse the infuser under the tap.
• Do not put the teapot on a hob or other direct heat, and avoid pouring boiling water into a cold pot straight from the fridge or a cold windowsill.
