This is a large hand-blown recycled glass bowl set on wood, a sculptural sweet bowl and serving dish made from melted-down beer bottles fused over a reclaimed timber base.
Each piece is crafted by hand, with molten recycled glass relaxed and shaped over reclaimed Balinese gamal wood so the glass settles into the natural contours of the timber. Because every bowl is individually made from rescued bottle glass, no two are ever quite the same, which makes each one a genuinely one of a kind, sustainable object.

Care
Hand wash only with warm water and a soft cloth, then dry straight away. Do not put any piece in the dishwasher, microwave or oven. Avoid soaking the wood or leaving it in standing water, and keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight to protect the colour. A little food-safe oil now and then keeps the wood looking its best.
