This is a wide decorative bowl made from recycled beer bottle glass, hand-blown and fused over a base of reclaimed Balinese wood for a striking organic centrepiece.

Each bowl begins with salvaged beer bottles, melted down and gently relaxed by hand over a piece of reclaimed gamal wood so the molten glass settles into the natural grain and contours of the timber. The result is a biophilic, sustainable piece where no two are ever quite alike, shaped by the glassblower and the wood rather than a mould.
