This molten glass on wood bowl is a hand-blown recycled glass dish fused over a base of reclaimed Balinese gamal wood, with a soft wavy rim that pools and flows into the natural grain.
Each bowl is made by relaxing molten recycled glass directly onto a piece of reclaimed gamal wood, so the glass settles into every curve, knot and groove of the timber. Because it is shaped entirely by hand and heat, no two are alike: yours will have its own wave, clarity and pattern. Materials

Care
Hand wash only with warm water and a soft cloth, then dry straight away. Do not put any piece in the dishwasher, microwave or oven. Avoid soaking the wood or leaving it in standing water, and keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight to protect the colour. A little food-safe oil now and then keeps the wood looking its best.
