This is a medium molten glass on wood bowl, a decorative dish where hand-blown recycled glass is fused and relaxed over a base of reclaimed Balinese wood to form a smooth, organic vessel.
Each piece is made by hand in Bali, where molten recycled glass is poured and shaped so it settles naturally into the contours of reclaimed gamal wood. Care
Hand wash only with warm water and a soft cloth, then dry straight away. Do not put any piece in the dishwasher, microwave or oven. Avoid soaking the wood or leaving it in standing water, and keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight to protect the colour. A little food-safe oil now and then keeps the wood looking its best.
