This is a five-tealight molten glass on wood candle holder, with five hand-blown recycled glass wells fused along a single piece of reclaimed Balinese gamal wood to make a natural, sculptural centrepiece.
Each piece is made by hand: molten recycled glass is poured and allowed to relax over the contours of salvaged gamal wood, so the glass and timber settle into one another. Because every length of wood and every pour of glass is different, no two holders are ever the same, making each one a genuinely one of a kind, sustainable object that celebrates both the natural and the handcrafted.

Is each candle holder unique? Yes. Each one is individually handmade, so the wood grain, glass colour and form differ on every piece and yours will not look exactly like the photographs.
Is the glass really recycled? Yes. The glass is hand-blown from recycled glass and fused onto reclaimed Balinese gamal wood, so the whole piece is made from reclaimed and recycled materials.
How do I clean it? Wipe the glass and wood gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry straight away. Avoid soaking the wood or using harsh cleaners, and let candle wells cool fully before handling.

Materials

Care
Hand wash only with warm water and a soft cloth, then dry straight away. Do not put any piece in the dishwasher, microwave or oven. Avoid soaking the wood or leaving it in standing water, and keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight to protect the colour. A little food-safe oil now and then keeps the wood looking its best.
